Athabasca University, Canada's Open University, invites applications for a temporary part-time (0.2 FTE) Academic Coordinator, Counseling Psychology, within the Graduate Centre for Applied Psychology (GCAP), Faculty of Health Disciplines (FHD). 

The incumbent in this position will be highly motivated, self-directed, and will possess a strong, current theoretical and counselling background as well as outstanding communication skills. Responsibilities may include (based on a 0.2 FTE workload) virtual course instruction, participation as a team member among the GCAP faculty, involvement in the program development, and evaluation of students' learning. 



Successful candidates will possess an earned doctorate in counselling psychology or a related field of study. Candidates must be a registered psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychology or the regulating body within their province. Experience in online education is required.
