Athabasca University's Faculty of Business is currently recruiting for the position of Academic Coordinator, Organizational Behaviour.
Please note this is a temporary part-time (0.2 FTE) position ending in December 2023.
This position is responsible for the delivery and maintenance of the following undergraduate course: ORGB (Leadership in Organizations). In fulfilling this role, the Academic Course Coordinator ensures the coordination and teaching of this course, supervises the assigned Academic Experts/Markers and collaborates with support staff as necessary. S/he reports to the Chair of the Organizational Analysis department.
Qualifications:
- A Master's Degree in business or related field along with a demonstrated experience with Moodie online course delivery is required. All educational credentials must be recognized in Canada.
- Familiarity with the assigned course and the supporting online learning materials would be considered an asset.
- Along with the relevant academic credentials mentioned above, this position requires excellent communication, organizational, administration, and online skills.
- The successful candidate should have demonstrated the ability to maintain a high academic standard, maintain accurate student records, and return students' work promptly.
- Candidates must own or have access to a computer and internet with the capability to communicate with the University and students, as well as the capability to run any applications required to perform tutorial support.
